Overview

ProMach is seeking a dedicated professional to provide troubleshooting, installation, and repair of machinery. This role reports to the Customer Service Manager and is based remotely in the Midwest or Northeastern U.S.

Responsibilities

1. Travel to customer sites for installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of high-speed capping and ancillary equipment.
2. Train customer operators and technicians on system setup, operation, change-over, and maintenance.
3. Coordinate parts and spare components to ensure quick repairs and adequate stock.
4. Prepare detailed trip reports outlining issues, actions taken, and next steps.
5. Occasional travel to Zalkin in Statham, GA for training, assembly, testing, or factory acceptance tests.

Qualifications

• Associate's Degree in a related technical field or equivalent experience in the packaging industry.
• Minimum of 3 years in machine manufacturing or mechanical repair/maintenance.
• Strong knowledge of mechanical/electrical applications, including Allen-Bradley PLCs, servo motors, and complex machinery.
• Ability to interpret engineering designs and wiring schematics.
• Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office.
• Willingness to travel up to 75% and work overtime as needed.
