Job summary

LG Electronics in Boston, MA seeks a Field Service Technician (Appliance Repair) to join our Customer Service team. You will service home appliances, diagnose, repair and maintain customer equipment while representing LG with professionalism.

Responsibilities include traveling to customer sites, using PPE and diagnostic tools, documenting findings, processing paperwork, and meeting metrics such as customer satisfaction and first-time fix.

Qualifications

• Experience in repairing major appliances; Refrigeration/sealed systems, cooking and cleaning products preferred.
• Ability to properly troubleshoot, diagnose, repair and document product/system issues.

Responsibilities

• Travel offsite to customers' locations to perform maintenance and repair of LG's equipment.
• Proper use of PPE, vehicle and diagnostic tools provided by LG.
• Conducts technical diagnosis and repairs on a variety of electronics and home appliances.
• Diagnose problems, assess extent, document findings, decide repair or parts replacement.
• Immediately and accurately process paperwork and perform data entry after each job.
• Pre-screen next day service calls by obtaining necessary information to help diagnose problem prior to arriving at customer's home.
• Meet or exceed company metrics (customer satisfaction, fix right first time, revisits, parts management, OT %).
