Job summary

Rapiscan Systems, an OSI Systems Company, is seeking a Field Service Technician based out of New York City, NY. You will perform service and maintenance on Rapiscan systems, respond to contract requirements, and support customers with technical issues and on-site visits.

This intermediate-level role requires advanced troubleshooting, independent thinking, and the ability to work shifts and on-call duties. Travel, equipment handling, and data reporting with D365 are part of daily

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years supporting complex capital equipment in a service capacity.
• BS in Electronic Technology or Engineering with Mechanical experience.
• Technical degree or demonstrable mechanical ability.
• Strong knowledge of Analog, Digital, and Mechanical systems.
• Networking hardware and software knowledge.
• Database management and programming, software/firmware protocols.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills; multilingual is a plus.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite.
• Working knowledge of D365 workflow management systems or similar ERP.

Responsibilities

• Perform service and maintenance for Rapiscan systems.
• Follow Field Service contract requirements for response time and reporting.
• Communicate with customers to ensure work aligns with plan and Rapiscan objectives.
• Coordinate with Customer Service for timely parts delivery.
• Maintain and carry Field Service Tool Set; assist others as needed.
• Complete timely D365 reporting of labor, expense, and materials.
• Manage documentation per Rapiscan policy and customer requirements.
• Follow safety program requirements.
