Job summary

Rapiscan Systems, Inc. is seeking a Field Service Engineer I based in the Cincinnati, OH area. You will perform service, maintenance, and troubleshooting on Rapiscan systems, with up to 75% travel domestically and internationally.

Expect extended hours, some weekends, and potential overseas deployments. You will manage service contracts, report via CRM, and coordinate parts, while upholding safety and company values. Must have an A.S.

Qualifications

• A.S. in Electronic Technology or Engineering with Mechanical Engineering experience.
• Technical degree or demonstrable mechanical ability and knowledge.
• 3 years experience in field service environment; x-ray industry desired.
• Basic knowledge of Analog, Digital, and Mechanical systems.

Responsibilities

• Perform service and maintenance for Rapiscan systems as directed by Field Service Managers.
• Follow contract requirements for response time and customer management.
• Communicate with customers to ensure work is executed per plan and Rapiscan objectives.
• Maintain Field Service Tool Set and report labor, expenses, and materials.
• Ensure proper distribution of required documentation per policy.
• Carry company devices and be on call as required.
