Job summary

GLORY is seeking a Field Service Technician for the 2nd shift based in Tukwila, WA. You will troubleshoot and repair high-speed cash-handling equipment, manage parts and tools, and directly support clients in the field.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in or completed electro-mechanics, electrical engineering, or equivalent work experience.
• Certificates in related fields (mechanics, electronics, automation, data processing) preferred.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Working knowledge of PCs, Microsoft Office, network sites, and email communications.
• Logical troubleshooting skills and capability to isolate problems at PCB or component level.
• Ability to read electrical schematics, logic diagrams, and mechanical drawings.
• AC/DC power distribution and digital/analog circuitry.
• Experience repairing high-speed paper handling machines (check sorters, mail sorters, currency sorters); ATM's or copier repair preferred.
• 3-5 years of technical field service repair experience preferred (aviation, medical equipment, vending machine, or military repair).
• Hold a valid driver's license.
• This position focuses on electro-mechanical repair, with some PC knowledge beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Ensure overall customer satisfaction
• Diagnose system problems and make repairs
• Keep customer apprised of progress during maintenance or a down system situation
• Complete machine installations, Engineering Change Notices affecting upgrades, and hardware/software upgrades that may require technical assistance
• Any other job responsibilities as assigned within scope of position; not an exhaustive list
• Adhere to safety guidelines and complete required EH&S training, reporting of any job site accidents
