Sammons Industrial, LLC is seeking a Service Technician I to diagnose, service, and repair customers' equipment and keep machines safe and reliable. You’ll perform preventive maintenance, troubleshoot issues, and assist with basic welding as needed, while following safety procedures and maintaining clear job documentation.

This role is on-site in Denison, TX, with opportunities to grow skills alongside a dependable team.

Qualifications

• Must have high school diploma or GED and valid driver\'s license.
• Minimum 3 years of equipment repair or related mechanical experience.
• Strong mechanical aptitude with troubleshooting and repair skills.
• Good communication and customer service skills; able to work in a team.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, service, and repair equipment including engines, motors, transmissions, hydraulics, brakes, and electrical systems.
• Perform preventive maintenance, inspections, troubleshooting, and simple welding as needed.
• Maintain safety standards, clean work area, and complete service documentation on time.
• Take ownership of jobs by managing parts, supplies, and coordinating with customers.

How You’ll Make a Difference

What You’ll Do

• Diagnose, service, and repair equipment, including engines, electric motors, transmissions, hydraulics, brakes, steering, electrical systems, lifting systems, and other major components.
• Keep equipment safe and dependable through preventive maintenance, inspections, troubleshooting, failure analysis, and basic welding as needed.
• Put safety first every day by following proper repair procedures, maintaining a clean work area, and meeting company and applicable safety requirements.
• Take ownership of the job by maintaining needed parts and supplies, completing service documentation on time, supporting customers, and completing required technical training.

What You’ll Bring

• High school diploma or GED, a valid driver’s license, and 3+ year of equipment repair or related mechanical experience.
• Strong mechanical aptitude with the ability to troubleshoot, diagnose, maintain, and repair equipment.
• Good communication and customer service skills, along with a dependable, team-first approach to your work.
• Ability to lift up to 75 pounds and regularly stand, walk, bend, lift, and twist. Mechanical or trade school training is a plus, and availability for an on-call schedule may be required.
