Job summary

SitePro Rentals, Abilene, TX is seeking a Service Technician I. You will diagnose, repair, and maintain equipment to keep customer gear safe, reliable, and ready to work. Join a team that prioritizes safety, quality, and helping people.

You’ll grow technically, handle routine maintenance, and contribute to a supportive, on-site team environment. Valid driver’s license and ability to lift up to 75 lbs required; on-call rotation may apply.

Qualifications

• 1+ year of equipment repair experience or related field.
• Basic mechanical knowledge and troubleshooting ability.
• Willingness to learn and adapt to new equipment and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, repair and maintain equipment including engines, hydraulics, brakes and electrical systems.
• Inspect and troubleshoot to identify problems early; perform repairs and basic welding as needed.
• Maintain safe work environment and comply with safety regulations (DOT/OSHA).
• Keep accurate service records and manage parts and supplies; participate in required training.

How You’ll Make a Difference

You’ll help keep the equipment our customers depend on safe, reliable, and ready to work. Whether you’re troubleshooting a problem, completing a repair, or performing routine maintenance, your work keeps our customers moving. What You’ll Do

• Diagnose, repair, and maintain equipment, including engines, electric motors, transmissions, hydraulics, brakes, steering, electrical systems, lifting systems, and other key components.
• Inspect and troubleshoot equipment to identify problems early, complete repairs and component rebuilds, and perform basic welding when needed.
• Work safely every day by following proper equipment procedures, maintaining a clean work area, and meeting company, DOT, OSHA, and other applicable safety requirements.
• Take ownership of every job by keeping accurate service records, maintaining needed parts and supplies, and completing required technical training and certifications.

What You’ll Bring

• 1+ year of equipment repair or related industry experience with basic mechanical aptitude, technical knowledge, and problem-solving skills.
• A high school diploma or GED and valid driver’s license; mechanical or trade school training is preferred.
• Strong customer service and communication skills, along with a willingness to learn; technician certifications are a plus.
• The ability to lift up to 75 pounds, regularly stand, walk, bend, lift, and twist, work in a shop environment, and participate in an on-call schedule as needed.
