Job summary

SitePro Rentals, Inc. in Austin seeks an experienced Technician 2 to diagnose, repair, and maintain equipment across engines, hydraulics, electrical systems, and more. You will uphold safety procedures and keep accurate service records while serving customers and teammates.

You will lift up to 75 pounds, bring your own tools, travel to customer sites, and participate in an on-call schedule as needed. The role offers ESOP, training, and a supportive, safety-driven work environment.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of equipment repair or related industry experience.
• A high school diploma or GED and a valid driver’s license; trade school training and technician certifications are preferred.
• Ability to use precision instruments such as micrometers, dial indicators, and bore gauges; welding or fabrication experience is a plus.
• Willingness to lift up to 75 pounds, furnish own tools, travel to customer sites, and participate in an on-call schedule.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, repair, and maintain equipment across engines, transmissions, hydraulics, electrical systems, brakes, steering, lifting systems, drive components, and more.
• Troubleshoot and inspect equipment to identify failures, potential problems, and safety concerns, completing component rebuilds, basic welding, and repairs as needed.
• Put safety first on every job by following proper equipment procedures and all company, DOT, OSHA, and applicable regulatory requirements.
• Take ownership of the work by maintaining accurate service records, parts and supplies, company vehicles, training requirements, and strong communication with customers and the team.

What You’ll Do

• A high school diploma or GED and a valid driver’s license; mechanical or trade school training and technician certifications are preferred.
• The ability to use precision instruments such as micrometers, dial indicators, and bore gauges; welding or fabrication experience is a plus.
• A customer-first, team-minded approach, plus the ability to lift up to 75 pounds, furnish your own tools, travel to customer sites, work in a shop environment, and participate in an on-call schedule as needed.
