Job description

Our client, a global leader in aerospace engineering and manufacturing, has an immediate need for a qualified Field Service Technician to join our growing team in Atlanta.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Test products for functionality or quality, including tensile, strength, static, and dynamic testing.
2. Troubleshoot problems with equipment, devices, or products.
3. Assist in product assemblies.
4. Manage multiple projects simultaneously.
5. Set up equipment in accordance with good manufacturing practices and standard operating procedures.
6. Follow technical drawings.
7. Design load test fixtures and modifications.
8. Create internal department manuals and checklists according to Quality Department standards.
9. Communicate with vendors regarding purchases.

Key Qualifications:

1. Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or a related field.
2. Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience or demonstrated skills and knowledge to perform the listed tasks.
3. Fluent in English; additional languages are a plus. Ability to read and write English, follow verbal instructions, and perform basic math.
4. Knowledge of a machine shop environment.
5. Experience with CNC, lathe, and milling machines.
