Field Service Engineer – Materials Testing Equipment

We are seeking a technically strong and customer-focused Field Service Engineer to support advanced materials testing systems across a growing national client base. This is a hands‑on role ideal for individuals who enjoy troubleshooting complex electromechanical systems, working independently, and traveling extensively.

In this role, you will install, maintain, calibrate, and repair high‑precision testing equipment used across industries such as aerospace, medical devices, automotive, and research laboratories. You will also serve as a trusted advisor to customers—providing training, technical guidance, and ensuring optimal system performance.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform installation, preventative maintenance, calibration, and repair of testing equipment
• Troubleshoot electromechanical, electronic, and hydraulic systems
• Interpret schematics and technical drawings to diagnose issues
• Train end users on equipment operation, software, and testing methods
• Prepare detailed service and calibration reports aligned with quality standards
• Support ongoing customer relationships through responsive service and communication

Qualifications

• Strong troubleshooting experience across mechanical, electrical, and electronic systems
• Ability to read schematics and use diagnostic tools such as multimeters and oscilloscopes
• Experience working with or exposure to 3‑phase power systems
• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or a related technical field, or equivalent hands‑on experience
