Job summary

Techneeds LLC is seeking a Field Service Technician to deliver on-site and in-field support for advanced case-making machinery. You will troubleshoot, install, and service equipment while ensuring optimal performance at client sites.

The role requires strong electrical, mechanical, and pneumatics skills, plus experience with servo drive and motion programming. Expect frequent travel and regular communication with customers and teams.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of Field Service experience.
• Engineering degree (AS or BS preferred).
• Mechanical, Electrical, and Pneumatics assembly experience.
• Wiring and troubleshooting industrial machinery.
• Servo drive and motion programming experience (desirable).
• Strong Windows OS skills.
• Clear written and verbal communication skills.
• Sharp computer skills for documentation and reporting.
• Willingness to travel domestically and internationally.

Responsibilities

Our client is looking for a Field Service Technician.

In this role, you will be responsible for providing technical support, maintenance, and repair services directly at customers' facilities or in the field. Your efforts will ensure that machinery operates smoothly and efficiently, supporting the company's reputation for reliability and excellence.

In this position, you will troubleshoot, install, and service industrial equipment, often traveling domestically and internationally to client sites. Your technical expertise will help keep machinery running at peak performance, while your communication skills will ensure clear updates and documentation.

Work Schedule

Monday-Friday, 7:00 AM - 5:00 PM, with a minimum of 50% travel often requiring overnight stays of 5 days or longer.

Required Skills, Education, and Experience
