Job summary

Raymond West is seeking a Field Service Technician to join our service team. The technician will repair and service customer equipment, communicate effectively with customers and colleagues, and represent the company while maintaining productivity and safety standards.

Responsibilities include traveling to customer sites, keeping tools in good order, completing paperwork promptly, and adhering to OSHA safety guidelines.

Qualifications

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to read, write and speak English fluently.
• Excellent Organizational Time Management skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft office Suite and similar software.
• Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
• Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of an organization.
• Must be able to maintain effective working relationships with employees, Co-workers, and Managers in other departments.
• Must be willing to work off-hours as specific needs dictate and willing to assume more responsibility as required.
• Must be able to fulfill essential job function in a consistent state of alertness and safe manner.

Responsibilities

• Repair all types of equipment that Raymond West sells and services.
• Update training and skills on a continuing basis.
• Train other employees as needed.
• Maintain a profitable billing level.
• Follow all Service Department procedures.
• Communicate with assigned Field Supervisor.
