Job summary

Aventiv in Connecticut seeks a Field Service Technician I to travel to customer facilities to maintain, repair and support company products, tablets, kiosks and related equipment. The role may be onsite, hybrid or roving, providing both technical and administrative support to customers.

You will set up tablets, troubleshoot devices, manage user accounts, train users, and coordinate with dispatchers and teams to ensure service quality.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• Experience with Windows OS and Microsoft Office.
• Ability to work in difficult environments such as corrections.

Responsibilities

• Maintain, repair and resolve issues on company products and equipment.
• Set up and maintain tablets for users.
• Repair phones, kiosk, video terminals, WAPs, tablets in correctional facilities.
• Provide technical support and troubleshooting for tablets.
• Manage user accounts and access permissions.
• Coordinate tablet usage schedules with staff.
• Train incarcerated individuals on how to use tablets.
• Maintain inventory of equipment and tools.
• Communicate with dispatchers and provide ETA for arrival and departure information.
