Job summary

Carl Zeiss Industrial Quality Solutions, LLC is seeking a Field Service Technician in the United States (Kentucky) to install, service, and calibrate Zeiss equipment at customer sites. You will troubleshoot complex systems, maintain strong customer interactions, and document service activities.

The role requires physical capability to lift up to 75 lbs, a valid driver’s license, and willingness to travel extensively, including potential international assignments.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; technical training or military background is a plus.
• Hands-on with basic electrical test equipment and hand tools; comfort with Windows operating systems.
• Must be able to lift up to 75 lbs and work minimum 50 hours per week, including overtime.

Responsibilities

• Install, repair, troubleshoot, service, and calibrate Zeiss equipment at customer sites.
• Provide exemplary customer service and professional communication with clients.
• Continuously learn and master new skills, including CMM-related tasks when applicable.
• Document all service activities accurately and completely.
• Travel extensively within the service area, including potential international assignments.
