Job summary

Sealed Air, a leader in packaging solutions, seeks a Field Service Technician in the Indianapolis area. This field-based role operates from a home office with travel to customer sites across the region, providing service and installation of Cryovac packaging systems while supporting sales and customer satisfaction.

The ideal candidate will troubleshoot equipment, perform preventive maintenance, and train customers.

Qualifications

High School Diploma or equivalent.
Valid U.S. Driver's License.
Technical school or related training is a plus.
Previous field service, maintenance, manufacturing, packaging, or food processing experience preferred.

Responsibilities

Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain packaging equipment at customer facilities.
Perform preventive maintenance and equipment inspections.
Install and commission packaging equipment.
Train and support customers on equipment operation, maintenance, and sanitation.
Respond to customer breakdowns and prioritize urgent service needs.
Manage a regional customer territory independently.
Build strong customer relationships through regular site visits.
Identify product, service, and equipment upgrade opportunities.
Support sales initiatives and new product introductions.
Complete service reports and customer documentation accurately and on time.
Adjust schedules and priorities as customer needs change.
