Job summary

Sealed Air seeks a Field Service Technician to provide hands-on technical service for Cryovac packaging systems, startups, and maintenance across multiple sites. You will collaborate with sales, service teams, and customers to ensure proper installation, operation, and upkeep of equipment and materials.

You will inform customers about safety regulations and product improvements while supporting preventative maintenance programs and parts supply planning.

Qualifications

• Assist in daily equipment startups at multiple sites with customers, troubleshooting, repair and maintenance service.
• Assist internal technical service representatives, sales, and customer personnel in installation of equipment along with training customers in equipment operation, maintenance and sanitation.
• Inform customers of safety regulations, technical information, modifications and improvements.
• Analyzes packaging quality and production problems to determine if equipment, material or product related.
• Assist customers in understanding preventative maintenance programs and spare parts requirements.
• Enhance customer relations with regular visits, calls, value capture, audits of equipment, aiding in securing parts and advise on packaging techniques per territory business plan.
• Assists service/sales in supporting new products and opportunities.
• Supporting sales and marketing with timely completion of all administrative reports.
