Job summary

Sealed Air is seeking a hands-on Field Service Technician to support customers throughout Minnesota, North Dakota, and South Dakota. This field-based position features a home office; when not traveling to customer sites, you’ll manage your schedule, complete service documentation, and prepare for customer visits.

Alexandria, MN serves as the central location for the territory, and relocation assistance is available for qualified candidates.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Valid U.S. Driver's License.
• Ability to travel across Minnesota, North Dakota and South Dakota.
• Experience in field service or maintenance preferred.
• Technical school training is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain packaging equipment at customer facilities.
• Perform preventive maintenance and equipment inspections.
• Install and commission packaging equipment.
• Train and support customers on equipment operation, maintenance, and sanitation.
• Respond to customer breakdowns and prioritize urgent service needs.
• Manage a regional customer territory independently.
• Build strong customer relationships through regular site visits.
• Identify product, service, and equipment upgrade opportunities.
• Support sales initiatives and new product introductions.
• Complete service reports and customer documentation accurately and on time.
