Job summary

Sealed Air is seeking a Technical Specialist to provide field service and support for Cryovac packaging materials and equipment in the Columbus, Detroit area. You will troubleshoot, install, train customers, and ensure safety and compliance.

The role requires mechanical aptitude, a valid US driver's license, and willingness to travel overnight up to 30%. Previous Cryovac equipment experience is preferred, with a focus on customer satisfaction and service excellence.

Qualifications

• Requires a high school diploma or equivalent and preferably technical training.
• Mechanically inclined with the ability to troubleshoot and repair Cryovac equipment.
• Valid US driver’s license and ability to travel overnight up to 30%.
• Experience servicing Cryovac rotary and auxiliary equipment is preferred.
• Strong time management and communication skills are expected.
• Proficient using basic computer applications and CRM tools.

Responsibilities

• Provide equipment troubleshooting, repair and maintenance service to customers using Cryovac materials.
• Assist or coordinate installation of equipment and train customers in operation and maintenance.
• Inform customers of safety regulations and technical information.
• Analyze packaging quality and production problems to determine root cause.
• Advise customers on preventative maintenance and spare parts requirements.
• Support sales with timely completion of administrative reports.
