Job summary

Canon U.S.A., Inc. is hiring a Field Service Technician II in Mechanicsburg, PA. This hands-on role supports Canon-supported products with basic troubleshooting, repair, and on-site maintenance for customers.

The position requires a HS Diploma or GED and 1–2 years of related experience, plus the ability to travel and lift up to 50 pounds. A valid driver’s license and willingness to work shift/on-call are essential.

Qualifications

• Requires HS Diploma or GED plus 1–2 years of related experience.
• Basic understanding of internet environments and Canon systems.
• Willingness to travel with valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
• Able to work in a 24/7 environment with shift/on-call duties.
• Must pass required security/clearance steps to access customer sites.
• Able to lift 50 pounds and stay active most of the shift.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose basic mechanical, software, network, and system failures using established procedures.
• Service and repair designated equipment to Canon standards and specifications.
• Maintain knowledge of multiple product groups and perform basic troubleshooting.
• Meet customer demands with efficient, responsive field/shop/on-site maintenance.
• Maintain technical information, Field Service Reports, Expense Reports, and Canon property.
• Provide direction to less experienced technicians and escalate issues as needed.
