Job summary

EnerSys is seeking a highly motivated Field Service Technician II to join our team. You will travel to customer sites to install, maintain, and repair battery systems, ensuring peak performance and uptime for critical infrastructure.

The role emphasizes safety, compliance, and direct customer interaction, with opportunities to train clients on equipment and best practices. A valid driver's license and the ability to handle overnight travel are required.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1.5 years of field service experience in electrical, telecom, or energy-related fields.
• Basic understanding of electrical systems and test equipment.
• Ability to read and interpret technical documents such as schematics and manuals.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Travel to customer sites to perform installation, preventative maintenance, and basic repair of battery equipment.
• Troubleshoot and diagnose technical issues, replace defective parts, and reassemble equipment.
• Provide on-site technical assistance and training to customers.
• Maintain accurate records of service calls and asset management.
