Job summary

EnerSys is seeking a highly motivated Field Service Technician III to join our Energy Systems team in the Dallas area. You will provide on-site installation, maintenance, repair, and troubleshooting of complex battery and power systems, with a focus on uptime and safety. Leadership and mentorship of junior techs are expected.

You will travel as needed, work with cross-functional teams, and adhere to OSHA, DOT HazMat, and ISO standards while delivering customer-focused service and reports.

Qualifications

• Technical degree or equivalent certification in a relevant field.
• Three or more years of proven experience as a Field Service Technician in battery/power systems industry.

Responsibilities

• Provide expert-level technical support to customers, including installation, commissioning, maintenance, and repair of complex battery equipment and power systems.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot intricate technical issues using in-depth technical knowledge and advanced diagnostic tools.
• Perform preventative maintenance, system upgrades, and performance optimization to ensure maximum uptime and reliability.
• Proactively identify potential issues and implement preventative measures to avoid downtime.
• Train and mentor junior technicians, sharing expertise to support development.
• Lead and manage small-scale field service projects and coordinate with internal teams and external vendors.
