Job summary

EnerSys Energy Systems is seeking a seasoned Field Service Technician III to join our team. You will install, maintain, repair, and troubleshoot advanced battery and power systems on customer sites, ensuring maximum uptime and safety.

You will coach junior techs, lead small projects, and uphold OSHA, DOT, and ISO standards while delivering exceptional customer service and reliable energy solutions.

Qualifications

• Technical degree or equivalent certification in a relevant field, such as Electrical Engineering or Electronics Technology.
• Three or more years of proven experience as a Field Service Technician, demonstrating progressive responsibility and technical expertise in the battery and power systems industry.

Responsibilities

• Provide expert-level on-site installation, commissioning, maintenance, and repair of complex battery equipment and power systems.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot intricate technical issues using in-depth technical knowledge and advanced diagnostic tools.
• Perform preventative maintenance, system upgrades, and performance optimization to ensure maximum uptime and reliability.
• Proactively identify potential issues and implement preventative measures to avoid costly downtime.
• Train and mentor junior technicians, sharing expertise and knowledge to support their development.
• Lead and manage small-scale field service projects, ensuring timely completion and adherence to project specifications.
