Job summary

Vertiv is seeking a Field Technician to assist in start-up, commissioning, and service of 480VAC bus duct systems, including iMPB/HPB/TOB and metering. You will troubleshoot, modify and repair equipment while maintaining strong customer relationships and clear communication with CRC, supervisors and management.

The role requires a High School Diploma or GED and hands-on electrical experience; familiarity with electrical test equipment and MS Office is expected.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required or equivalent.
• ASMET with 1+ year hands-on electrical experience preferred.
• Fundamental electrical theory and technology knowledge.
• Basic knowledge of electrical/electronic test equipment and fundamentals.
• Mechanical aptitude and practical skills with maintaining equipment.
• Proficient with MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel).
• Valid driver's license required.

Responsibilities

• Assist in start-up, commissioning, integration and troubleshooting of Vertiv 480VAC systems.
• Establish rapport with customers and internal teams; communicate effectively.
• Evaluate operating conditions of equipment and interact with all stakeholders.
• Manage own schedule and respond to emergency service requests.
• Aim for first-time fixes and provide timely timecard/expense reporting.
• Comply with safety policies and participate in continuous improvement.
