Job summary

Vertiv is seeking a Field Technician in the United States to support start-up commissioning, integration, emergency service, and troubleshooting of 480VAC bus duct systems and metering communications. Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• ASMET or equivalent preferred.
• 1+ year hands-on electrical environment experience.
• Basic training in electrical theory and safety.

Responsibilities

• Assist in start-up commissioning, integration, emergency service and troubleshooting of 480VAC electrical bus duct systems.
• Establish and maintain rapport with customers, co-workers and sales representatives.
• Evaluate operating conditions of equipment.
• Interact with all levels of internal and external customers.
• Manage own schedule and respond to emergency calls as needed.
• Provide timely and accurate communication to customers and internal teams.
