Job summary

Vertiv in Houston seeks a Field Technician to support startup commissioning, integration and emergency service for 480VAC bus duct systems, including iMPB, HPB, TOB and metering communications, plus mechanical repairs.

Responsibilities include establishing rapport with customers, maintaining communication with CRC, Supervisor, and manager, driving first-time fixes, and reporting timecards and expenses while following safety protocols.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• ASMET or equivalent technical training preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist in start-up commissioning, integration, emergency service and troubleshooting of Vertiv 480VAC bus duct systems.
• Establish and maintain rapport with customers, co-workers, sales reps, and others as appropriate.
• Ensure safe operation and compliance with policies; provide timely reporting of timecards and expenses.
