Job summary

Johnson & Johnson’s MedTech Electrophysiology Field Service Team Leader leads field engineers to support installation, service and repair of EP products across a broad US region. The role emphasizes strong leadership, technical troubleshooting, and customer satisfaction in a fast-paced healthcare setting.

Typically located near major airports with 50/50 home office and field work; expects frequent travel and team leadership responsibilities within Biosense Webster EP division.

Qualifications

• Must have vocational/trade certificate or higher with related work experience in cardiology or electrophysiology.
• Bachelor’s or Associate degree with relevant field and industry experience.
• Strong leadership and communication abilities required for field teams.
• Ability to travel and operate company vehicle with license.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and lead a team of Field Service Engineers in scheduling and account management.
• Install, operate, repair, and modify equipment in assigned territory.
• Manage regional workflow to support biosense/EP products.
• Respond to emergency service requests and troubleshoot causes.
• Provide guidance to doctors, nurses, and biomedical engineers; resolve satisfaction issues.
• Develop preventive maintenance plans and keep service records.
• Suggest design improvements to enhance efficiency and reduce costs.
• Plan installation phases for new equipment and coordinate with customers.
• Maintain customer expectations and document activities in the Service Management System.
• Support RMA processing and manage regional inventories and audits.
