Job summary
Hitachi Energy NAM Grid Integration is seeking a Field Service Team Leader to manage the Field Service Team and deliver our service offerings across the United States and Canada. Our portfolio includes extended warranty, service contracts, upgrades, spare parts, 24/7 support, and cyber security for HVDC/FACTS and related grid systems.

Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree and eight years of experience in electrical systems and service.
- Experience leading troubleshooting events and teaching technical abilities to teams.
- Experience with maintenance procedures.
- Knowledge of HVDC / FACTS systems and their grid application.
- Demonstrated experience in safe work practices.
- Working knowledge of commercial and legal terms and conditions.
- Fluent in English; French and Spanish a plus.
Responsibilities
- Safety - Promote and ensure a strong safety culture and safe execution of work
- People management - grow, develop, and motivate the team
- Strategy - resource expansion to support growing customer base
- Quality - identify and implement continuous improvement opportunities
- Execution - plan and manage Field Service resources and activities
- Tracking - manage and report on Field Service backlog and status
- Provide tender cost estimates for field activities
- Ensure timely feedback of service activities to business partners
