Job summary

Terminix in Lansing, MI is seeking an in-field supervisor responsible for training, coaching, and monitoring the delivery of quality pest control services by our service professionals.

You will direct and motivate teams, provide ongoing field coaching, inspect work to ensure standards, and cover routes as needed; travel with crews at least 90% of the time. Excellent communication and mentoring skills required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; 2-year degree preferred.
• 1-2 years of industry experience required; 3+ years preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret safety rules, operating and procedural manuals.
• Basic communication skills; advanced verbal communication preferred.
• Ability to write routine reports; strong coaching/mentoring skills.

Responsibilities

• Directs, monitors and motivates service professionals to provide quality service to all customers.
• Provides continuous, up-to-date in-field training and coaching to service professionals.
• Inspects pest management work to ensure compliance with company standards.
• Conducts random quality audits of accounts in line with branch goals.
• Takes responsibility of servicing pest routes when necessary.
• Will be in the field with service professionals at the minimum of 90% of the time.
