Job summary

LG Electronics is seeking a Field Service Technician (DMST) to join the Customer Service team in the Greenville, SC metro area. You will travel to customer locations to service LG appliances and electronics, diagnose issues, perform repairs, and document outcomes.

Qualified candidates have 1+ year in a technical role, experience with major appliances, and the ability to obtain EPA certification. Strong safety and customer-service mindset are required.

Qualifications

• 1+ year of technical experience (appliance repair preferred).
• Experience repairing major appliances (refrigeration, cooking, cleaning products).
• Experience using tools and diagnostic test equipment.
• Ability to troubleshoot, diagnose, repair and document issues.

Responsibilities

• Travel offsite to customers' locations to service LG equipment.
• Use PPE and company tools to perform maintenance and repairs.
• Diagnose problems and decide whether to repair or replace parts.
• Document findings and complete paperwork promptly.
• Pre-screen next-day calls to aid diagnosis.
• Meet/exceed customer satisfaction and efficiency metrics.
