Job summary

Rivian in California is seeking a Service Operations Manager to lead local service delivery with a customer-first mindset and a focus on safety and efficiency. You will drive cross-functional collaboration across Service Operations, Sales, Retail, and Delivery & Field Operations, manage KPIs, and build a high‑performing mobile/field team while developing staff and maintaining Rivian's standards.

The role requires strategic oversight of P&L, inventory reconciliation, and logistics, with a bias

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.
• Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams and drive operational excellence.
• Experience managing remote service teams and improving field operations.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with customer focus.

Responsibilities

• Manage P&L, WIP, and customer experience metrics including NPS.
• Lead local operations with servant leadership and hands-on approach.
• Ensure programs comply with Rivian objectives.
• Develop and maintain safe service practices and KPI reporting.
• Build and develop a high-performing mobile/field team and staff.
