Job summary

Rivian in Ohio is seeking a Service Operations Manager to drive field service operations with a customer‑first mindset and a high level of initiative. You will lead a mobile service team, coordinate with internal and external partners, and ensure safety, quality, and efficiency across service centers.

The role demands strong leadership, strategic planning, and the ability to navigate ambiguous environments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.
• Ability to manage remote service teams and drive performance.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong planning and organizational skills with focus on operational excellence.
• Experience leading automotive or high‑tech teams in fast‑paced environments.
• Willingness to travel as needed.

Responsibilities

• Lead local operations with servant‑leadership and hands‑on mindset.
• Manage P&L, WIP, and customer experience as measured by NPS.
• Collaborate with Service Operations, Sales, Retail and Delivery teams.
• Develop and implement safe service business practices.
• Track and report KPIs at the Service Centers.
• Hire and develop team members and maintain high morale.
