Cleveland Brothers Equipment Co., Inc. in Pennsylvania seeks a Field Service Supervisor to lead the Field Service Department and oversee repairs, parts, and customer support, ensuring efficient and cost-effective service delivery.

You will supervise personnel, respond to customer inquiries about repairs and scheduling, and allocate technicians and equipment to shop and field jobs while managing documentation and performance.

Competenze

• Five years of hands on supervisory experience in a field environment.
• Strong knowledge of Caterpillar product lines and service practices.
• Proven ability to lead, develop staff and improve productivity.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; customer-focused.
• Proficiency with Windows-based applications and MS Office.

Mansioni

• Supervise and develop the personnel of the department.
• Receive and respond to customer requests or inquiries on equipment repairs.
• Assist in determination of needed repairs and timing of repairs.
• Research information from literature and computer sources.
• Assign and schedule equipment and personnel to shop repairs.
• Other functions as assigned by necessity.
• Assess employee performance and provide guidance or training.
• Foster good employee/management relations.
• Decide upon and administer employee discipline as required.
• Receive calls from customers regarding price, schedule, and warranty info.
• Discuss complex repair diagnoses with Technical Communicators and others.
• Address downtime concerns through scheduling repairs with customer convenience.
• Utilize mainframe, PCs, and literature to locate invoices, work orders, parts, and pricing.
• Devise work schedules for field repairs using available mechanics and vehicles.
• Examine work orders and draft budget recommendations.
• Perform other work-related duties as assigned.
