This role directs the Field Service Department and field repairs and parts to deliver efficient, cost-effective support for Caterpillar equipment.

You will supervise staff, coordinate repairs, plan field work, and ensure customer service excellence while aligning with company policies and safety standards.

Qualifications

• Five years of hands-on supervisory experience within a field environment.
• Know​ledge of Caterpillar product lines and service procedures.
• Ability to manage day-to-day operations and coordinate field work.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and develop the personnel of the department.
• Receive and respond to customer requests or inquiries on equipment repairs.
• Assist in determination of needed repairs and timing of repairs.
• Assign and schedule equipment and personnel to shop repairs.
• Discuss complex repair diagnoses with staff and manufacturers.
• Address equipment downtime concerns through scheduling repairs.
• Utilize manuals and databases to obtain repair information.
• Draft budget recommendations for service activities.
• Perform other work-related duties as assigned.
