Job summary

Rivian in Sparks, Nevada, is seeking a Service Operations Manager to lead and scale ground operations for our service network. You will drive a customer-first service culture, oversee cross-functional programs, and manage a high-energy team of technicians and advisors.

This role demands strategic leadership, P&L ownership, and collaboration with Service Operations, Sales, Retail and Field Ops to improve processes, safety, and KPI reporting across Service Centers.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.
• Ability to manage remote service teams and drive people performance.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Experience leading automotive or high-tech, fast-paced teams.

Responsibilities

• Manage a P&L, WIP, and customer experience measured by NPS.
• Lead local operations with servant leadership and hands-on mindset.
• Ensure programs and processes comply with Rivian objectives.
• Oversee high-value inventory reconciliation.
• Collaborate with Service Operations, Sales, Retail, and Delivery & Field Ops.
• Build and lead a customer-centric team of Mobile/Service Technicians, Advisors, Parts Advisors.
• Hire, manage performance, and develop team; promote Rivian culture.
• Maintain safe service practices and high standards of safety and organization.
• Track and report KPI across Service Centers.
• Interact with customers, 3rd party affiliates, suppliers at Rivian facilities and events.
