Job summary

Day Wireless Systems is seeking a Field Service Manager to lead our field operations, supervise technicians, and partner with Area/Operations Managers on business development and budgeting. You will oversee service projects, ensure safety and quality standards, and drive customer satisfaction through proactive communication and strong leadership.

The role requires a bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience, 8+ years in field service leadership, and expertise in wireless systems.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent work experience.
• Minimum eight or more years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination.
• Proven experience in field service operations with supervisory experience.
• Strong technical expertise in wireless communication systems, including installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting.
• Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate a team.
• Solid understanding of project management principles and practices.
• Commitment to safety, quality, and customer service excellence.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and other relevant software applications.

Responsibilities

• Supervise technical staff: leadership and direction to field service technicians, scheduling, training, and performance management.
• Overseeing service teams, coordinating service activities, and resolving or escalating issues.
• Project Management: lead planning, execution, and completion of service projects within budgets and timelines.
• Technical Support: serve as a technical resource for field technicians on troubleshooting and solutions.
• Customer Communication: maintain regular communication with customers to ensure satisfaction.
• Quality Assurance: conduct inspections and audits to ensure standards and regulatory compliance.
• Safety Compliance: enforce safety protocols and ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
• Inventory Management: manage inventory levels and procurement for field operations.
• Documentation and Reporting: maintain records and prepare reports on performance and metrics.
• Continuous Improvement: identify opportunities for efficiency gains and cost savings.
