Job summary

Integrated Power Services is seeking a Field Service Technician (Rotating Equipment & Precision Millwrighting) to lead on-site diagnostics and precision repairs of industrial rotating equipment. You will perform laser alignments, inspections, and overhauls, delivering an unmatched customer experience while maintaining safety and quality.

The role requires hands-on experience with AC/DC motors, gearboxes, and pumps, plus the ability to read blueprints and use precision tools.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of hands-on experience with AC/DC motors, gearboxes, pumps, or similar rotating industrial equipment.
• Ability to read and interpret precision measuring instruments and technical blueprints.
• Strong problem-solving skills in a fast-paced, continuous improvement environment.
• Excellent communication with customers and technical teams.
• Valid Driver’s License with willing to work on-call, overtime, and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Lead installation and removal of AC/DC motors and coupled equipment with laser alignments.
• Perform precision assembly and alignment; set air gaps and seals to OEM specs.
• Conduct detailed mechanical inspections using precision tools to verify tolerances.
• Overhaul bearings, gearboxes, and torque-critical components.
• Perform diagnostic tests with Megger, PdMA MCE, Multimeter, and DLRO.
• Clean and prep electro-mechanical equipment using bead/ice blasting and solvents.
• Adhere to strict safety standards and collaborate with a high-performing team.
