Job summary

FANUC America Corporation seeks an Associate Mechatronic Field Engineer to perform onsite repair, troubleshooting, and maintenance for CNC and peripheral equipment. The role targets candidates near Spartanburg, SC, with reporting to the Manager in Huntersville, NC, and support across South Carolina, North Carolina, and Eastern Virginia.

Main duties include diagnosing issues, performing repairs, and coordinating with supervisors.

Qualifications

• Strong diagnostic and problem-solving abilities for CNC and related equipment.
• Excellent communication skills for written and verbal customer interactions.
• Willingness to travel frequently to customer sites (80-90%).

Responsibilities

• Provide maintenance and troubleshooting service for CNCs, servo, spindle drive and motor products.
• Investigate customer complaints and perform analysis to determine the cause of the problem.
• Travel to customer sites with overnight travel as needed (2–3 nights per month).
• Learn service operations, procedures and company policies through training and on-the-job experience.
• Report quality problems to the appropriate manager.
