Job summary

Essenti Talent is partnered with a CNC Machine Tool Builder to recruit a seasoned Field Service Engineer. The role covers installation, troubleshooting, repair, and maintenance of CNC machine tools at customer facilities nationwide, with heavy travel and remote support as needed.

Qualifications

5+ years of CNC machine tool maintenance and service (electrical and mechanical).
5+ years of remote technical support within machine tool industry.

Responsibilities

Install CNC machine tool systems at customer sites and verify alignment.
Perform leveling, geometry checks, and final adjustments for peak performance.
Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic issues.
Identify root causes and recommend repair or replacement solutions.
Provide on-site and remote technical support via phone, email, and other channels.
Support customers, distributors, and internal teams with technical guidance and problem resolution.
Provide customer training and assist with project coordination as needed.
Travel to customer sites and trade shows as required.
Maintain detailed service documentation and reporting.
