Meisystem Asia Ltd. is seeking an experienced field service engineer to install, commission, and optimize advanced CNC machinery at customer sites. The role focuses on preventive maintenance, diagnostics, and high-level mechanical/electrical troubleshooting across North America.

The ideal candidate has a strong background in mechatronics, CNC systems, and remote support, with travel about 70% and a passion for delivering exceptional technical service in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in a technical field or equivalent hands-on experience.
Minimum 4 years servicing electromechanical equipment in manufacturing.
Ability to read electrical schematics and mechanical drawings.
Experience with mechatronic systems and CNC machinery is preferred.
Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record.

Responsibilities

Install, commission, and optimize CNC machinery at customer facilities.
Perform preventive maintenance, inspections, and repairs to maximize reliability.
Travel ~70% across North America, with occasional international travel; provide remote support when not traveling.
Diagnose complex mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and control issues using advanced troubleshooting.
Prepare detailed technical reports to support root-cause analysis and product improvement.
Follow SOPs while applying critical thinking for non-standard situations.
Collaborate with engineering and support teams to resolve technical challenges and improve service quality.
Build strong customer relationships and deliver responsive, professional technical support.
Provide hands-on operator and maintenance training to maximize equipment longevity.
