Job summary

Olympus Corporation is seeking a Field Service Manager to lead a team of Field Service Engineers and Trainers across designated regions in New York and New Jersey. The role focuses on service levels, support, and repair of Olympus Medical devices, driving customer satisfaction through resource coordination and performance management.

The position requires strategic planning, team leadership, and hands-on coaching, with travel by car/plane, and a valid driver's license.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Electronic, Biomedical, or Computer Science.
• Associates degree with at least five years in a medical or electronics field.
• Valid driver's license and ability to travel (car/plane).
• Compliance with customer and vendor credentialing requirements.
• Complete annual bloodborne pathogen and operating room protocol training; Hepatitis B vaccination.

Responsibilities

• Strategic planning to achieve service objectives within the assigned area.
• Lead and develop Field Service Engineers to meet performance targets.
• Coach and train FSEs to improve customer satisfaction.
• Coordinate with Training Department and area leaders to support training needs.
• Manage dispatch activities and area reporting; maintain service records.
