Job summary

Municipal Emergency Services (MES) is seeking a Service Manager to lead our regional field service team. You will develop people, improve operations, strengthen customer relationships, and deliver exceptional service across the territory.

This leadership role requires coaching, collaboration with Sales, and regular travel to support technicians and customers. A strong background in field service and a college degree are preferred.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of field service leadership experience.
• Background in fire service equipment, HVAC, automotive, heavy equipment, industrial maintenance, medical equipment, utilities, or similar industries.
• College degree preferred.
• Valid driver's license (REAL-ID required for access to federal facilities).
• Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
• Strong communication and leadership skills.
• Experience leading field service or technical service operations.
• Strong organizational and time management abilities.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, business software and systems.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coach a team of field service technicians.
• Participate in hiring processes for your assigned territory. Oversee scheduling and daily service operations.
• Build strong relationships with fire departments and municipal customers.
• Partner with Sales to deliver exceptional customer experience.
• Travel regularly throughout your region to support technicians and customers.
• Monitor KPIs, improve operational performance, and drive business results.
• Take ownership of customer issues until they are resolved.
• Foster a culture of accountability, professionalism, safety, and continuous improvement.
