Job summary

SPX Technologies in Franklin, TN, is seeking a Field Service Manager to lead field service operations, technicians, supervisors, and contractor resources to deliver safe, efficient, and profitable projects. The role partners with Technical Support, Customer Support, Sales, NOC, and Operations to ensure on-time service delivery, strong customer relationships, and continuous process improvement.

A Bachelor's degree and 5+ years of relevant experience are preferred.

Qualifications

5+ years in field service, operations, or technical service management.
3+ years in leadership managing technicians, supervisors, or service teams.
Experience managing dispersed field teams and contractor networks.
Experience in telecommunications or aviation lighting preferred.
Strong leadership and coaching skills.
Excellent customer relationship management and communication abilities.

Responsibilities

Lead field service operations, technicians, supervisors, and contracted service resources.
Develop weekly and monthly workforce plans, schedules, and route optimization.
Ensure safety, FAA compliance, and service quality across offerings.
Collaborate with Sales, Customer Support, Technical Support, NOC, and Operations.
Track KPIs and drive data-based improvements in productivity and customer satisfaction.
Ensure accurate use of Salesforce and other systems, with timely field reports and updates.
