Job summary

SPX Technologies in Franklin, TN is seeking a Field Service Manager to oversee field service operations, technicians, and contractors to deliver safe, efficient, and compliant service work.

You will plan staffing, scheduling, and service delivery across regions while upholding safety and FAA requirements. The role partners with Sales, Support, NOC, and Operations to improve customer experience and metrics.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of progressive field service, operations, or technical service management experience.
• 3+ years in a leadership role managing technicians, supervisors, or service teams.
• Experience managing dispersed field teams and contractor networks.
• Bachelor's degree in Business, Operations Management, Engineering, Technical Services, or related field preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach, and develop Field Service Supervisors, Field Technicians, Service Coordinators, and contracted service resources.
• Establish goals, priorities, and performance expectations for field personnel, including reviews and development planning.
• Foster accountability, safety, customer service, and operational excellence while supporting recruitment and onboarding initiatives.
• Develop weekly and monthly workforce plans to maximize productivity and coverage across regions.
• Promote and enforce safety policies, ensure FAA compliance, and conduct safety reviews and corrective actions.
• Ensure proper documentation and record retention.
