Job summary

Edwards Vacuum is seeking an Onsite Service Engineer to visit customer sites in Texas, diagnose and repair systems, and install equipment while ensuring safety and documentation. You will communicate effectively with customers and coordinate with the Site Manager to minimize downtime.

The role emphasizes strong customer focus, problem-solving, and the ability to coach less experienced staff, with a commitment to safety and quality in every service visit.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of relevant technical field experience (electronic, mechanical, chemical, gas, refrigeration, or vacuum)
• Customer-facing experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Visit sites to inspect, service, troubleshoot, and repair systems; diagnose issues to prevent downtime.
• Perform installations, ensure safety compliance, and document activities.
• Be the on-site contact, provide service recommendations, and address customer needs promptly.
• Report into the Site Manager and coordinate with the team.
