Job summary

Kenco Group is seeking a Field Service Specialist to act as a senior technical resource across the MHE Solutions network. You will partner with operations leadership, lead onboarding and training, and serve as the escalation point for complex equipment issues.

This role emphasizes safety, continuous improvement, and customer relationships. Travel will be substantial (50-75%), with on-site leadership for facility startups, equipment readiness, and workforce readiness initiatives.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; Associate degree preferred.
• 5-8 years in material handling equipment service or related technical field.
• 2-4 years supervisory or lead technician experience.
• Troubleshooting complex mechanical, electrical, and/or automated systems.
• Trainer or lead technician experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate readiness activities for new site startups with budget tracking and reporting.
• Monitor expenditures and provide analysis and recommendations to leadership.
• Facilitate technician onboarding and field-based training with SME support.
• Participate in technician interviews and provide technical assessments.
• Provide on-site technical leadership for startups, disruptions, and staffing needs.
• Act as escalation point for equipment and system issues and provide maintenance guidance.
• Coach and mentor field technicians on processes, technologies, and systems.
