Job summary

IEM is seeking a Field Service Lead to supervise a team of technicians and engineers across multiple customer sites, overseeing start-up, commissioning, and maintenance of IEM products. You will travel to sites, provide technical leadership, and ensure safe, quality execution of all field activities.

You will mentor technicians, coordinate with project managers, and address risks and punch lists to ensure successful project delivery for diverse power solutions.

Qualifications

• Proven ability to lead and mentor field service technicians.
• Strong technical knowledge of electrical equipment start-up, commissioning, troubleshooting and maintenance.
• Ability to plan schedules, coordinate resources, and manage multiple customer sites.

Responsibilities

• Lead start-up and commissioning activities at multiple customer sites, ensuring on-time completion and minimal open issues.
• Provide daily supervision, mentorship, and training to field service technicians.
• Serve as the technical lead for product knowledge and advanced troubleshooting guidance.
• Travel to manufacturing or field service sites to participate in training, factory tests, and shop tests.
• Identify risk areas affecting team performance and report to management for action.
• Complete project start-up/commissioning on-site and close out punch lists with PMs.
• Coordinate with commercial and admin teams for non-scope requests.
• Ensure technicians have tools, materials, and documentation to work effectively.
• Report product or quality concerns and collaborate with production/engineering to address deficiencies.
• Work with leadership to schedule additional field resources as needed.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management.
