Job summary

IEM in the United States is seeking a Field Service Lead to supervise a team of technicians providing start-up, commissioning, troubleshooting, and maintenance of IEM products at customer sites. This is a working‑lead role with hands‑on field responsibilities and direct oversight of about 8 technicians across 2-6 active customer sites.

You will coordinate start‑up activities, mentor technicians, and provide advanced troubleshooting.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or equivalent in power distribution systems or related field required.
• Minimum 2 years of field service start-up/commissioning experience for electrical equipment.
• Experience with switchgear, electrical distribution systems, and electrical control systems preferred.
• Familiarity with LOto procedures and safety standards essential.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate start-up and commissioning activities across multiple customer sites.
• Provide daily supervision, mentorship, and training to field service technicians.
• Serve as technical lead for product troubleshooting and issue resolution.
• Travel to facilities or customer sites for training, tests, and project alignment.
• Identify risks/impact to field teams and report to management for action.
• Coordinate with commercial and admin teams for start-up scope boundaries.
• Ensure technicians have tools, materials, and documentation for site work.
