Job summary

Sartorius is seeking a Field Service Engineer to support our customers across the Southeast region, including Georgia, Tennessee, Alabama, and Mississippi. The role focuses on installation, maintenance, calibration, and repair of laboratory equipment in a field setting.

The position emphasizes building long-term customer relationships, performing on-site tasks, and producing detailed service reports. Located near Atlanta is preferred, with travel across the territory as required.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree or High School Diploma with technical certification.
• 2+ years proven field service experience including calibration of balances and moisture analyzers.
• Ability to troubleshoot, test, repair, and service technical equipment.
• Ability to work flexible shifts and to adapt to changing work schedules.
• Familiarity with mobile tools and applications.

Responsibilities

• Provide service and customer support during field visits or dispatches
• Tie workflow to schedule
• Manage all on site installation, repair, maintenance, and test tasks
• Diagnose errors or technical problems and determine proper solutions
• Produce timely and detailed service reports
• Document processes
• Operate vehicle in a safely manner and use field automation systems
• Follow all company's field procedures and protocols
• Cooperate with technical team and share information across the organization
• Comprehend customer requirements and make appropriate recommendations/briefings
• Build positive relationships with customers
