Job summary

SmartFlower is seeking a hands-on Solar Equipment Service Engineer to join our customer service and engineering team in the United States. The successful candidate will provide remote support and on-site service of electro-mechanical equipment, ensuring reliability and uptime for our photovoltaic systems.

This role covers field service calls, training installations, North American parts fulfillment, and collaboration with a global team to address failure modes and drive continuous improvement in

Qualifications

• Hands-on field service experience with electro-mechanical systems.
• Experience with photovoltaic systems or industrial equipment is a plus.
• Willingness to travel within North America up to 15%.

Responsibilities

• Handle North American service cases with email/phone support, remote troubleshooting and cost per case targets.
• Independently carry out field service calls including break fixes and maintenance visits.
• Oversee installations and provide training for customers and staff.
• Partner with global team members to elevate field issues for engineering attention and drive solutions.
• Manage SmartFlower North American spare parts including customer fulfillment and inventory optimization.
• Conduct system and component failure analysis, refurbishment and testing as needed.
• Lead initiatives to enhance service delivery, bolster serviceability and drive down cost.
