Veeco Instruments Inc. is seeking a Field Service Engineer to install, calibrate, and service Veeco equipment across North America.

You will perform preventive maintenance, upgrades, testing, and on-site support to ensure customer satisfaction and equipment reliability. Ideal candidates have a Bachelor’s in engineering or related technical field with at least 2 years of experience, and are willing to travel up to 85% within North America, with occasional international travel.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related technical area; minimum 2 years experience.
• Military training and experience welcome.

Responsabilités

• Install, upgrade, test, warranty, and repair equipment following safety protocols.
• Isolate and resolve malfunctions and take corrective action.
• Assist with new processes, methods, and designs.
• Develop relationships with customers to ensure satisfaction.
• Serve as onsite contact for equipment and field support.
• Report tool actions and field activities in field service reports.
• Adhere to safety and confidentiality policies.
